If you're even a little bit interested in interior design, chances are you've seen the quintessential "social media-style" bedroom that stylists and influencers have increasingly been creating over the last few years. Verdant with greenery and peppered with vintage furniture these bedrooms exude an effortlessly laid-back and cosy aesthetic that has become popular with Gen Z and even more so with Millennials. The overall look is a relaxed mixture of mid-century, Danish, and rustic styles.

This style of bedroom can be surprisingly affordable to put together and also a more sustainable way to decorate a space. You really don't need to be an expert to achieve this look.

1. Fill the space with plant friends

One of the key components of this style is plenty of plants. Popular choices include devil's ivy (a super easy plant to propagate), monstera, and palms. They help give a room a calming vibe and add a lovely natural element. Adding a few plants friends to your bedroom is one of the easiest, most affordable, and impactful ways to enliven it. 3. Cosy lighting

One of the nicest things about these bedrooms is that they always have a cosy vibe to them. A great way to achieve this is with warm lighting.
