2021's Most Popular Bedrooms, According to Bed Threads Followers

Our bedrooms are our private little sanctuaries and can reveal a lot about our personalities and design preferences. We spend so much time in these areas of the home so creating a space for yourself that's comfortable and that you find beautiful is important.

Whether you're looking to do a simple update or want to completely start over, a good place to find inspiration for decorating your bedroom is social media. As we head into the final stretch of 2021, we've taken a look back at our own Instagram account to see which bedrooms you loved most.

This year, our Bed Threads community really celebrated our verdant shades Olive and Sage, proving once again that green is the new millennial pink.

2021's Most Popular Bedrooms

1.

Talk about a dream bedroom! The light green shade of Sage adds a touch of colour to Courtney Adamo's bedroom without being overbearing, and the White is crisp and clean looking. It's the ultimate fresh combo that will never go out of style.

Palm Springs vibes permeate the chic boudoir of Audrey Larter. The rich, golden colourway of Turmeric injects sunshine and warmth into the space. The White provides a neutral base and allows the Turmeric hue to sing.

Think of Olive and Sage as two peas in a pod. You can't go wrong with this two-toned combination, and Amanda Callen's charming bedroom proves just that. It's fresh, nature-inspired, and celebrates the colour of the moment perfectly.

4.

"I want all my homes to feel as though you can literally run and jump in and curl up on anything you choose," says interior designer Lynda Gardener. And that's the exact feeling we get when we look at her cosy bedroom swathed in Oatmeal linen.

"A bed is all well and good, but you have to be able to sit in it and enjoy the room it’s in. You need to make your bedroom a place that evokes cosiness and warmth," says interior designer Simone Haag. And her bedroom with Turmeric and Oatmeal embodies just that.

Pink Clay is a rich, luxurious colour that has the soft sweetness of pink, grounded with burnt oranges and ochres. It looks wonderful when paired with Terracotta. Together, it's a welcoming and playful colour combination that brings toasty vibes to this space.
